When this show first aired on CBS I was watching it every week for about half of the season (give or take). It wasn’t that I didn’t like the show. I have just had a hard time getting myself into watching tv shows ever since I got out of high school and just had other better things to do (no offense to tv shows). Within the last year or so though I have been able to tame myself a little bit to start watching shows that I missed out on. So I got back into Seal Team.
I am currently into season 3 of 6 so I’m only about half way there, but I have been sucked in since I started watching it again. I don’t know if it’s because I’m older, because I’m married and have kids now, or what but there are parts that just get me right in the feels every time. There are quite a few of these parts actually which I think make it that much better for me.
David Boreanaz plays the main role in this, and I say this to elude to another show that he starred and also hit me in the feels constantly, Bones. While these 2 shows are not the same they hold very similar emotions to me which is probably why I feel the way I do about this one. Boreanaz has managed to win me over as a fan especially of his more recent work.
Aside from Boreanaz though, everyone on the show does a phenomenal job playing their roles. I can’t think of one time when I thought something wasn’t awesome in the show or I was like “that acting sucked”.
In a nutshell, the show is about Bravo Team of the Navy Seals ran by Jason Hayes. It is about the bond that this particular teams holds and their lives both on and off the field. The bond that the people on this team have is admirable at the least. The question is how long can it last?
