Content Creator of the Month: Oct 2022

|

So if you didn’t know, here at SPG we showcase a content creator of the month every month. Currently I have been showcased it twice, once in November of 2021 and for this month October of 2022. You might be wondering why I was showcased again this month if you looked at my channels and haven’t seen much from them. I wanted to take this time to talk about Content Creating, how much it means to me and how I was potentially nominated while not producing much.

So I’ve been content creating since 2015. That’s when I started my first blog and public YouTube channel. Since then I’ve done my best to continue to chase my dream of being a movie writer/director/producer by doing so on a smaller scale. Writing blogs and producing YouTube videos. The dream was put on the back burner due to life, having a kid specifically. I always told myself that I would return to it when he got of age. But as life has a way of throwing a wrench into plans, those plans got even pushed back even further, marriage and more kids. I wouldn’t change my life trajectory for anything but I still wanted to chase my dream.

Years later enter Shadow Pack Gaming, a stream team I helped found. Over it’s first year SPG has evolved to include more than just streaming. We have Bloggers, Short Form Video Creators and streamers from Various Genres. Working with these awesome individuals has made me gain a huge understanding of the industry as a whole. We have come together as a group and collectvely continue the chasing the dream.

October’s content creator award really wasn’t about me, it was about the team. I’ve put in a lot of work behind the scenes, throwing out ideas, sharing my best practices and helping shape the future of the team. There isn’t enough time in the day to do everything I want to as far as content creating but my ideas and aspirations live on through the team when I cannot devote the time to put out the content. Being a part of Shadow Pack Gaming has allowed me to continue chasing my dream and being a part of the industry among others like me. So I want to thank everyone that has been a part of the team or is a current member for allowing me the oppurtunity in continuing my journey in content creation. So if you’re like me and you’re trying to balance work/life and chasing your dream, find your tribe. Trying to maintain a work life balance is very challenging and requires patience and dedication. Take your time and don’t be so hard on your self. Just remember one step at a time. Till the next blog, peace out!
